Creative Commons
A lot of people know about the big "C" which is known for Copyright. You may see the big C around the music community often and if you often see songs or albums with a c on it, it means that you are not allowed steal the information or item and claim it as your own. If you do on the other hand, it is illegal and there are possible consequences.
Now, creative commons is very similar to the whole copyright theme, but it expands your use. There are 5 licenses that have meaning and those five licenses mean No derivatives works, non commercial, attribution, share alike and          . Each license has their own meaning, unlike where copy rite is one big license. Also with creative commons you can mix licenses together such like:
Attribution-ShareAlike License
Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike License


In this assignment I will be showing pictures of 6 different mixed licenses with the theme based on Nature.

Purpose

Media is now a big thing in our daily lives. One major thing that has been around for awhile now is the internet! The Internet is very known for websites and even blogs. If I were to talk about blogs, I would say that every blog has a purpose to it. Blogs may be just for entertainment, to inform people or to persuade people. As a class, we were given a list of websites to check and here are mine!

To entertain:
1. http://www.1000awesomethings.com/
I realized that this blog is for entertainment because what I found about this blog is that people post things that they want to share. Some may just be thoughts or things that you could do. Over all if you were bored and you love to read, you should check out http://www.1000awesomethings.com/ because you never know there could be some ideas that you would want to do in the near future.

2. http://popeater.com/
This blog could be for anything, to inform or to even entertain. The good thing about this site is that there's different categories that you can look at, such as: life, business, sports, style, tech, etc. I would say that this site is more to inform than entertain because there are a lot of categories of information for you. 

To inform:
1. http://www.bloglockers.com/
After looking at this blog, I found out that this blog is a lot about sports and basically the entire site is about a writer informing you about new sports events and just their thoughts about whats happening.

2. http://kimjongillookingatthings.tumblr.com/
After looking at this, it's really straight forward. The writer has posted pictures of a man named Kim Jong and the daily things that he does along with a small caption of what he's doing in the photo. This blog informs you of the things that Kim Jong does.

To persuade:
1. http://lifehacker.com/
This site is all about tips on electronics, programs and other stuff involving technical use. Different people post things that they think can help you, but who knows? Maybe you think otherwise.

2. http://redstate.com/
Redstate are one of those sites where people blog about their opinions on certain subjects and in this case it's about politics especially in the United States. By people blogging about their opinions a lot of others can disagree or pick up an argument on what they've blogged about.
